Ford crossflow 1300cc block
This is a freshly built Ford x.flow 1300cc block based rear wheel drive 711M short motor with one of our steel 4340 crankshaft, rods and forged piston kits. Capacity is 1449.3cc. It has a 66.2mm stroke wide journal crankshaft which has 12 bolt flywheel fitting. This will also accept 6 bolt flywheels. Block has been chemically cleaned with all plugs removed and bored to 83.5mm and the deck machined to suit. Connecting rods are I.K.Engineering steel "H" section with ARP bolts and are 4.426" centre to centre allowing 37.2mm compression height forged pistons to be used with a far better rod ratio. Pistons are machined to accept largest valves possible and the compression ratio set at 12.5:1 with a Cometic gasket. Assembled with ACL race mains, ends and thrusts all at std. Fully balanced ready to go. Will happily run 9500rpm and capable of 160+hp with correct head and camshaft choice etc. Engine can be set up for either wet or dry sump.

This is a freshly built Ford x.flow front wheel drive 791M short motor with one of our steel 4340 crankshaft, rods and forged piston kits. Block is the base MK1 Fiesta 1300 short item. Capacity is 1503cc. It has a 66.2mm stroke wide journal crankshaft which has 12 bolt flywheel fitting with short tail specific to FWD Fiesta. This will also accept the std style 6 bolt flywheels. Nose is to accept all FWD timing cover and pulleys etc. Block has been chemically cleaned with all plugs removed and bored to 85mm and the deck machined to suit. Connecting rods are I.K.Engineering "H" section with ARP bolts and are 4.426" centre to centre allowing 34.00mm compression height forged pistons to be used with a far better rod ratio. Pistons are machined to accept 1.625" inlet and 1.420" exhaust valves with the compression ratio set at 12.3:1 with a Cometic 86mm gasket. Assembled with ACL race mains, ends and thrusts all at std. Fully balanced ready to go. Will happily run 9500rpm and capable of 100+hp per litre with correct head and camshaft choice etc. Engine can be set up for either wet or dry sump. This block has been run at this bore size but has been honed to clean. There is no bore wear or damage. All parts fitted are new and unrun.
